Custom Fields

Hi, I have in my project file, many custom field to provide me some
calculations and a visual status of all tasks (i.e. Number 1 to 14, Date 1 to
5).
While inputing formulas on custom fields, the MS Project 2000 works properly
but, after saving the file, close it and re-open again, the formulas does not
work anymore.
To make the formulas works inside the Custom Fields I have to Right click
on custom field, choose Customize field, click on formula, click OK and OK
again to close the Custumize field dialog box. I have to do this procedure on
all of my Custom Fields.

Is there any automatic way to do this? Anyone knows something about this
problem?
