custom filter

Hello,
I would like to use custom filter and use the "does not contain" or "does
not equal" options but it is not working. What I have is 6 projects: A,
B,C,A,B,A,C. I like to filter out projects B and C and leave projects A. I
use "does not contain" B "and "does not contain" C and I am hoping to see
only A but it is not happening
Please advise

On which field are you trying to filter? Are you using Project or Project
Server?

Haven't you used the "contains" test?
But what are the real project names ?

I am using project 2002
I am filtering a customized text field ( text 1)
"contain" option works but "does not contain" option does not work.
I am trying to filter out all the A projects
for i.e. I use custom filter and set the followings
"show rows that" "does not contain" "A" and when I say OK I still see A!!
I hope I could explain it well
Please advise

I tried a lot of "Does not contain" filter criteria, they all worked fine !

If you are actual entering "B", in the filter criteria, omit the "".
