Custom icon displayed on desktop

I set the custom access application icon to a valid .ico file. The
icon shows up in the windows xp task bar, and form headers as
expected. However, the desktop icon remains the default Access file
icon. Can this be changed in Access 2007?

That is not controlled by Access. Select the icon, right click, select
properties. Click the Change Icon button.
