Custom label

I am trying to print to an Avery4022 label( not in list) Dot matrix label
2"x4" & 6 labels/page. I am using this in conjunction with a mail merge to
print shipping labels from Access DB. No matter how I have tried to configure
a custom label setup, as the merge occurs (and I want 5 labels of each
record) it will print a label on 1st , skip other 5 and begin 2nd on next
page, rather than print the 5 consecutively. Any ideas?

If you're willing to have six of the same label, or five and a blank, you
can set it up by page so that you have merge fields in all the labels but a
«Next Record» field only in the last (so that the next page will start with
a new address).

If you need to have five of the same label, then start the second address on
the last label of the first page, print four on the next page, start the
third address with the next-to-last, and so on, then, assuming the labels
are continuous (fanfold), you may be able to do this by setting the labels
up as a "roll" type label, which considers each label a "page" (the only way
to do this, I think, is to select a/the roll-type label in the list and then
customize it). Whether you can create a mail merge main document with five
"pages" to work this way, I'm not sure.

If this is not helpful, you might want to post in the
microsoft.public.word.mailmerge.fields newsgroup.
