I have a strange problem. I am trying to change the office security settings
in MS office 2003 pro using a CMW file but when a new used logs into this
system the settings wont reflect when we checks them in office programs. I am
changing 'macro' secutity level for office programs to 'low' After I ran the
CMW file I still wont see those setting changed to low when I open office
program.
Anyone help me in this scenario.

I don't know the answer to your direct Q...but know that setting all
your macro security settings to low is NOT SMART! That will allow auto
macros to run without any protection and can cause viruses to hit your
network. You should NEVER set your security to low!

Thanks for all the imporant info about macro settings to LOW. I was doin this
to avoid errors poping up when I run a access 2000 application. I have a hugh
access application which was developed in access 2000 running on office 2003
pro. when user tryin to use this application in 2003 MS office access..its
generating all kinds of problems. When i set the macro setting to LOW the
problem dont seem to come back. But this setting goes to default HIGH when
another user log's into the same system. Was lookin for a way to globally
change macro settings to LOW. i am unaware about the consequences to this
settings..viruses and such. I downloaded custom maintainance wizard and
created a CMW file(with macro settings LOW)
and ran it at command prompt. I looked like it did something but when i
check the settings again they point to HIGH or MEDUIM. Need advice.

You might want to try posting to one of the networking groups...maybe
an admin there can offer a suggestion???

Good luck...
