Custom properties in an organization chart report

We are trying to create a org chart report using Name, Title and adding a new property called "Control No." We have been unsuccessful in doing this - we've tried to use the Telephone property, but even that won't show on the report. When the report runs, all we see is Name and Title. Any help would be much appreciated.
