Custom Report

I am trying to create a resource report which will show only certain details
such as the resource name, ID, work, cost and base calendar. I have copied
and edited and created various custom reports reports to no avail; there is
other information still showing in the report. Is there a way to build a
report from scratch to show only what I need?

Hi,

Start by creating a table with only the columns you want. Use View, Table,
more tables.

Then you can either create a View based on a copy of the Resource sheet but
with the new table you created, or use the table in a report.

Hi Rod,

I have created the table based on a Resource view available in More Tables,
however I am unable to view it, apply it, nor do I know how to copy it to my
reports. I had looked through the reports previously in hopes of editing one
that would meet my needs.

Is there a way for me to use this new table in a report?

This is really cool, and unless I am missing something here, I can definately
use a new table to consolodate fields I need into one table.
One problem I am having in creating a new table is: How can I add the Task
Name field to the new table. I can not locate it on the field list, to add
it.

Thanks
Marsh
