custom show problem

Hi,

PP2003

1 presentation, 104 slides

5 sections, all hyperlinked only from slide 1 (buttons)

section 5 is the custom show, slides 102,103,104, these are looped

when clicking in slide 1 on the custom show icon everything works fine, the custom show plays in a loop

in this custom show there's a button to go back to slide 1, so the presenter can click on another icon in slide 1 to reacht the sections 1-4 (not custom shows)

When clicked on the button, for example, section 3, the first slide of this section will open, as this hyperlink was ment to do


but..........when clicked in this first slide of section 3 (let's say slide 72) to view the next slide (73), this slide won't open but the custom show starts playing again where it's ended before?!
same happens with all the other sections

any ideas?

When you link to the custom show make sure "Show and Return" is ticked

Make the button(s) in the custom show "END SHOW" not "GOTO slide 1"

See if that works

When linking to the custom show, be sure to check the box for Show and
Return. Then, when in the custom show, don't use a hyperlink to slide 1;
instead set an Action Setting to hyperlink to End Show (to get out of
the custom show).

When you enter a custom show, it is not usually a good idea to link to
things outside the custom show. It is better to exit the show (with the
End Show link) so PPT can continue its life normally.
