Custom Themes are not working

I am working with Office 2007 Beta.

I am unable to create, save or view any custom themes.
Please does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

You may want to remove the 2007 Office System Beta 2/B2TR and upgrade to the Office 2007 release edition 60 day trial from
http://trymicroosftoffice.com A number of issues with document themse have been updated and corrected since then.

Yes, that is possible.

Did you delete the previous 'Building Blocks.dotx' files from the beta?

If you hold the ctrl key while starting Word 2007 can you create and save a theme or modify an existing one?

I have tried to save custom themes on a machine running the gold version of
Office 2007 and it still won't work.

Is it possible that I have accidentally set something in my user profile
that might be causing me problems? Other users are able to save custom themes. >>

Hi Alice,

If they're working in Office safe mode, then you could have an add in that is conflicting with how Word works, or a damaged
Normal.dot or Normal.dotx template.

You may want to take a look at the add-ins that are in play using
Office Button=>Word Options=>Add-Ins

Yes, I did delete 'Building Blocks.dotx'

And yes, when I start in safe mode, custom themes are available again. It
was a lovely surprise to see them all reappear. But when I reopened Word
normally, they were gone.
Do you know how to get them to reappear in Word in normal mode? >>

Not working on any of the programs not only the the theams but the forms. the
extentions are breaking links like crazy.. Bad thing. It all started with the
new extentions. Hope they get it fixed. None of mine are working. no matter
what program you use.
