Custom Toolbars work in Word 2008?

I've been using Clive's "Bend Word to Your Will" and currently trying to
create custom toolbars in Word 2008.

However, I don't find a way to dock the custom toolbar and I'm beginning
to wonder whether all of the toolbar suggestions will work with toolbars
in Word 2008.

Before I go too far down this path, do the mvps or other experts have
any tips about custom toolbars in Word 2008?

I didn't look under all the rocks and when I did I found John McGhie had
kindly answered a somewhat similar question several months ago and
recommended using the MS Word 2008 built-in toolbars.
