Custome UI Runtime Error in Microsoft Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing

Hi,

An Error message with the above title pops up with great gusto every time I
open an email. The body of the Error message reads, An error occurred while
calling the callback: "Ribbon_GetDCVisible"

I have no idea why, what it's about, or how to eliminate it. Can someone
help me out with this please?

Buck,

Check the add-ins you have installed in Outlook

1. Open Outlook -->Tools --> Trust Center - Add-ins
2. In the manage box at the bottom, select "COM Add-ins" (should be default)
and click Go
3. Uncheck "Microsoft Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and
Publishing"
4. OK your way out

So did you ever bother to load Outlook in its safe mode as was suggested
in your earlier post in alt.computer to see if an add-on was your
problem?

Hi,

I did try running Outlook in safe mode, and the problem doesn't happen.

Then you add back the Add Ons one by one and test until you find the one that is the
culprit

Just to clarify, "add back" should be "re-enable" (after first disabling
them all). You can probably skip disabling the Microsoft add-ons and
just focus on disabling and re-enabling one-by-one the non-Microsoft
add-ons.
