customise the label colours?

Hi

I'm new to OL XP.

Is there a way to customise the colours used for each label?

I know I can change the text but it seems to me like MS missed out this
option.

(AAaaarrgghhh!! I really believe they hold these things back to entice us to
upgrade to the next version!)
