Customised ribbon with buttons

Hi

I have a customised ribbon in a template and the ribbon has a number of buttons attached to it (created using UI Editor).

I also have a set of customised styles based on heading1, 2, 3 and 4.

Can I attach these styles to a corresponding button on the ribbon - so when a user clicks the Heading1 button it gives them that heading1 style with its numbering, font, indentation etc and so on for the other heading styles?

The only way I can think to do it is to create a macro, and then put the macro on the ribbon.
