Customize column view and date

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: pop Hi,

I have recently switched from Outlook 2003 on a PC to Entourage 2008 on a beautiful MAC.
But I'm having trouble customizing the columns in Entourage (View>Columns = greyed out, and not accessible).

I'd like to see the sender's name in one column, the subject in another column and the date received on the server in a third column. I suppose the default view is sender's name and subject on 2 rows in the same column and the displayed date and time is the one when i open Entourage and download the messages. So I see 50 messages that arrived at, let's say, 9:00 am - whereas it's important for me to see the date and time they were sent.

I would appreciate any help, as this is frustrating.

Thanks,
Sanda

Go to View menu --> Preview Pane and select Below List or On Right. You
cannot edit columns in the three-column view you're using.

Once you are using one of the other views then you can go to View -->
Columns and customize to meet your needs.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, Bill, I moved the preview pane to displaying below and it's working! Before I had it on the right and it didn't allow me to customize the columns.

Thanks so much!

Sanda
