Customize Project Center Date Fields

Does anyone know how to customize the date fields in the
Project Center page? The default is date time, and I
would like to customize it to show only a short date
mm/dd/yyyy. Microsoft has provided the option to "Show
time with date" on the Task page, and they provided
instructions for customizing the asp pages in Project
Central. I have searched the Microsoft website, and have
not found what I need.

Thanks,

John M.

There is no default method to change the date + time formatting in the date
fields of Project Center and Project views. If anyone in the group knows
how to modify the asp page to do this, I would invite them to respond.
Sorry for the bad news.

Thanks Dale for the prompt reply. It would seem to me
that this is an issue that Microsoft should be
addressing, as they did put out a white paper/tech note
for Project Central where they described the proceedures,
and asp pages (required multiple changes) that needed to
be changed.

Thanks,

I can tell you that the issue has been fixed in Project Server 2003,
although that probably doesn't do you much good. In PS2003, the default
format for date fields is the date only, with the option to display the time
as well.
