Customize Ribbon - Without VSTO

I am not interested in paying for a third parting plugin, I have seen the
training video, and read the MSDN article (Customizing the 2007 Office Fluent
Ribbon for Developers).

Question: Is there a way to customize the ribbon *without* purchasing Visual
Studio??

Question: Can a person use the Visual Studio Express Editions to customize
the ribbon??

That's why I said use Clayton's Customizer - no VS needed. Or, you can learn
to do it yourself with XML, but I prefer Clayton's tool:

Clayton's tool says it is for Access. What about Word and Excel??

Actually, I haven't tried it, but it wouldn't cost you anything to check.
