Customized layout to make it part of PowerPoint normal template

Can one make a customised layout part of the PowerPoint normal template so
that it is availabe for other new presentations one creates.

Margy,
What version of PowerPoint do you have. This can only be accomplished in
PowerPoint 2007, where you can create your own custom designs.
