Customizing Color of Contact in Inbox

Hi

I did a search and do not see any question or answer related to this so I am posting this question.

I would like to customize the color of certain contacts' messages when he/she sends me an email. i.e. if Steve sends me an email i would like to have the color of the text of his email message in red.

I know I could do this in Outlook, but can not figure it out in a simple way in Entourage. I did use the rule feature to make the text bigger and then created a category with Steve's name that has a color. Is this really the only way to accomplish what I am trying to do? I thought in outlook I could go to the contact and from there assign a custom color for his/her messages. Setting up a category and rule for each contact I want a custom color for seems a little crazy.

First, assign the category to the contact itself. Select the contact and
then choose Edit --> Categories --> your category.

Then go to Entourage menu --> Preferences... --> General Preferences -->
Address Book and select the option at the bottom "Automatically match
message categories to senders' categories".

Finally, this will work for all new incoming messages. To retroactively
apply the category to existing messages, you can select one or more of
them in your list of messages (or search for the sender so that you're
only viewing his messages) and select Message menu --> Apply Rule -->
All Rules.

Keep in mind that this will not alter the color of the text within his
messages. It will only add a color to the message itself.
