Hello Tom,
I truly understand your concern about this issue. However, I have searched
both internal and external knowledge base but failed to find any useful
information to your specific requirements.
For example, "Track Changes" settings are stored in the following registry
key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Options
However, there is no such a tool to determine which exact key controls
which exact setting in "Track Changes".
For more general information about Word options and where they are stored,
I recommend you refer to the following article:
822005 How to reset user options and registry settings in Microsoft Office
Word 2003, Microsoft Word 2002, and Microsoft Word 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=822005
Due to the limitation of resources and troubleshooting means in the managed
newsgroups, recommend you directly contact CSS or Advisory Services to get
more qualified assistance for your specific requirements, as they are
really out of our support ability.
You kindly understanding is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Ada Pan
