Customizing PWA Views

I have a team that only wants to see certain columns on
the "My Tasks" page. They only want to see the task name,
Start/Finish Date, Actual Work. I have created and added
another view however I can't figure out how to apply it so
that everyone will automatically see it. I've performed
the "get additional views", add view to category, etc.

Please HELP!

If you are using Project Server 2002, you cannot remove any of the columns
in the timesheet on the View My Tasks page.

If you are using Project Server 2003, you can modify the Timesheet view in
PWA to exclude any columns EXCEPT the Task Name, Start, and Finish columns.
To modify the Timesheet view, do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Manage Views link
4. Select the Timesheet view and click Modify View
5. From the list of Displayed fields, select the columns to remove and
click the Remove button
6. Click the Save Changes button

Dale, THANK YOU! I am using Project Server 2002 and will
request an upgrade from our IT department. I believe this
will take care of a lot of the issues we are having with
team members getting confused with what they should be
entering and where they should be entering it.
