CUSTOMIZING THE PROJECT GLOBAL TEMPLATE
"In Project 2007, many changes you make to default settings – for
example, for views, calendars, or forms – apply only to the current
project file."
CUSTOMIZING FIELDS AND FORMS IN PROJECT 2007
"When you add a custom field to a view in any project, it's
automatically added to the Project Global template and will then display
in all projects on your computer."
Read above stmt in quote. I am confused with this conflicting
statement.
When you customize the template you say, the changes you make to default
settings – for example, for views,( you are making changes to the view )
is local to the project file. However when it comes to Customizing
Fields you say, When you add a custom field to a view ( you are making
changes to the view ) in any project, it's automatically added to the
Project Global template and will then display in all projects.
Could you shed some light on this ?
Thanks
