cut and paste cell reference problems

I'm using the "Right" function to modify an account
number, when I copy the formula, and paste it in the
cells below, the cell reference changes appropriately
recording the cell I'm in the but the contents is the
same as the previous cell. Even more odd, if I click in
the address box up to (change nothing) and then hit enter
the cell adjust itself and reflects the right mod.

So that:
=Right(c2,8) is showing the same cell contents as
=Right(c3,8) - the formula changed but the reflected
contents is reading the same even though the contents of
the cell references are different.

Hi,

Go to Tools->Options-> Calculation tab and check if your calculations
are Automatic or manual. If it is manual, make it automatic and then try
the same spreadsheet
