Cut and Paste

We have an Access 2000 application that users insert a part number and then
get the description, quantities and additional info. It has worked fine
until we upgraded workstations from Windows 2000 to XP. Now, if a user cuts
and pastes a part number into the combo box, the subform does not update. If
you cut and paste the ENTIRE part number it works OK. FOr example, if you
cut and paste FC9600 it does not work. If you cut and paste FC9600 XbR3 it
works fine. It will also work if you add a space after hte cut and paste.
And it still works fine on Windows 2000 workstations. Any ideas?
