CYA e-mail for project manager

We're using Project Server 2003 with PWA. One of our PM's has
requested the ability to be CC'd on e-mail updates from the system
such as when a new task is assigned to a resource. The intent is
mostly as a cya for the PM as occasionally assigned resources claim
they never got the e-mail notice. Can someone let me know how to do
this?

Not possible using out-of-box capabilities, however you can custom code a
solution.
