Cycle Through Windows in Word 2004?

Michael Smith

In most Mac programs, if you have multiple windows open, you can cycle
through the windows by pressing Command + ` (Apple calls this command
"rotate windows"). In Word v.X this worked. In Word 2004 it has gone
away.

Any ideas how to make this command work again?

Still works for me, so perhaps you created a keyboard shortcut?

Check by choosing Tools/Customize/Customize Keyboard. Type CMD-` into
the "Press new shortcut key" textbox. If a shortcut key has been
assigned, the "Currently Assigned to" label will tell you what command
(otherwise it will be "unassigned").

If you're using Panther, also check System Preferences/Keyboard and
Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts for a Word-specific shortcut.

Normally, keyboard shortcuts are stored in the Normal template. You can
also try, with Word closed, renaming the Normal template, then
restarting Word.
