Yes you can accomplish this by changing the default method of tracking
progress in Project Server. Here's how:
1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Customize Project Web Access menu
4. Select the "Hours of work done per day or per week" option in the first
section
5. In the second section, select the "Force project managers to use..."
option
6. In the third section, select the "Resources should report their hours
worked every day" option
7. Click the Save Changes button
Once you have done this, every project manager must open every project and
then click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments, and click OK.
Doing so will "push" the new method of tracking to each user's timesheet in
PWA. Do know, however, that any in-progress tasks will not be affected by
this procedure, and must be completed using the old method of tracking
progress. Hope this helps.
