I have a database (in Access 2000) that includes a custom menubar that is
opened at startup. On my development platform it looks fime (Windows XP); if
I move it to my backup system (Windows 2000) it also looks fine. When I move
it to a client's Windows XP platform, the menubar is partially damaged - in
some cases (some of the selectable items) a piece is missing, for another
item instead of my entry I see the word "Other", and some items are okay. I
have taken it to a couple of platforms and it's been just fine. Any idea what
to look for on the offending machine? I realize that menu/tool/command bars
are part of Office per se, but I'm not sure if the problem is a missing
service pack, or different dll vesions - or something completely different....
