Does anyone know where I can get a replacement CD for
Microsoft Office 2000 Professional? I had a system crash
and need to reinstall but my CD is damaged and won't
execute. Thanks.
The easiest cheapest thing to do is find a friend or associate with the same
version of Office 2000 and burn a copy. There is nothing on any Office CD that
ties it to a specific Product Key. Assuming that you have a legal PK, it will
work with any Office CD for the identical version. The install CD merely uses
an alogoithm which makes sure the PK is in a valid format.
