Data Access Page - Conditional Formatting

I have a data access page from MS Access. I would like to have the
background of certain elements change color based on values stored in other
(hidden) elements. In the related Access form, I did this with conditional
formatting. Is there a simple solution?

If this is an Access data page application you need to ask in an Access newsgroup
- This is a FrontPage Newsgroup
(and the web does not support Access data pages)

If this is a web application using an Access database and your "data" is in table cells
- you could use server side code to change the cell background color based on the hidden form data values

Explain what type of application you are building
- and how you are using the data values and hidden values

Thank you for responding.
Sorry for posting in the wrong newsgroup. I started in the Access/Data
Access Page newsgroup, but since none of the posts that I saw there had
anything to do with MS programs, I moved on.
It is a data access page from Access, and I am modifying the resulting .htm
file in Script Editor.
