Hello all,
I am taking my first step into creating data access
pages. What I think I am seeing so far is that the pages
are much less dynamic than Access forms. Can they be used
for data entry? I don't see much possiblity of
parent/child forms or subforms; am stumped about the combo-
box I created through the wizard. I would like to use the
stored value in another field and can't see where to build
that; don't know what language to create events in; I need
some help!
Sussman and Smith talk briefly about using a wizard to
create pages but not about how to customize or enhance.
Microsoft's Access 2000 Visual Basic for Applications has
some discussion of the script editor. Most of the
discussion, however, seems to be geared to creating data
analysis tools, not data capture which is what I need.
And then it says I will need to read another book if I
want to get proficient at Web Scripting!
Any suggestions? Or other resources?
Thank you,
Kathryn
