Data Analysis Not connecting

When going to the data analysis section in PWA i get the following error:

The query could not be processed:
*The data provider didn't supply any further error information.


I have tried rebuilding the cubes but with the cryptic error message i don't
truly know what else to try.

Hello, you'll need to install the Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services OLE
DB Provider. This will be either version 9 (AS2005) or 10 (AS 2008). The 10
version is avaialble from

Thank you, but I went through all the troubleshooting and nothing worked.
Also, yesterday the data analysis worked fine, it only stopped working today.
Everyone is having the same problem.

Does this mean that the cube is not building or that you dont have access to
the cube?
If it was working fine yesterday, what has changed in your environemnt ( any
service pack update? or something else?)

Have you checked the event log and the Project Server queue and if so are
there any error logs?

Lets start there and I am sure we will be able to resolve the issue
eventually
