Data Analysis Views not connecting to cube

I am having a problem getting a non-domain PC to access the data analysis
views. This user, a contractor, has all of the necessary software installed
as per other tech notes, has the proper IE permissions (trusted site, allow
cross domain data etc), as all of the other PCs have. The user has an
account on the domain, and can access PWA just fine, and when they log into
a domain PC they can access the data analysis views just fine.

The issue only occurs when the user is on a non-domain PC.

Any ideas?

This is, as you have probably guessed, a security issue with SQL and
Analysis Services. The only way I have seen non-domain machines get
Data Analysis views reliably is to set them up with RDP.

Yes, password management was the solution here.

To be more specific, on Vista computers go to "Control Panel" and select,
"User Accounts" and the select "Manage your network passwords". You should
get a dialogue box allowing you to add your analysis server with your
username and password.

Thanks - Brian
