Data Base Utility won't fix Data Folder. Help!!!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

My Entourage program wouldn't open this morning after I deleted files from the Deleted Items folder.

Then I tried using Microsoft Database Utility Recovery on my Mac a number of times to try to rebuild Entourage which still won't open. Every time I use the Rebuild, it gets to a certain point and says there is corruption at Step 4/5 and won't go further.

Years of mail! I'm quite sick with this problem!

I've backed up to Time Machine this year but just recently got rid of almost all the MS User Data folders because I was told that they take up too much space by repeating their backups. My folder is over 7GB.

I also tried importing my MS Data folder backup from a separate harddrive which I backed up to 2 weeks ago using Super Duper but it also won't open.

So three files won't open, the one one my current harddrive, the last one I save from Time Machine, and the one on another drive backed up with SuperDuper.

Is there someone who can help? This is all my work and contacts from a way back.

When you brought over the old Identity did you rename it, are you sure you
switched Identity and selected the old Identity to open?

I haven't changed any identities as far as I know. I simply copied the Microsoft User Data folder over from my harddrive and stuck it in the Documents folder after removing the old Microsoft User Data folder that was there.

I assumed I'd be offering an older but uncorrupted folder, which would then open in Entourage as before. But none of these MS User Data folders will open.

Sorry if I'm not getting what you are asking me.

The backup copy from SuperDuper _should_ be working. As long as we can get a
copy that will open, we can recover your data.
