Data Element Where-Used

D

Daryl

We are in the process of consolidating many Access databases into a more
"centralized" database. I am looking for help in being able to identify all
the data elements associated with each tables in all these databases. Any
help would be appreciated.

The best tool I've found for that job is Speed Ferret.

But that assumes you have an idea what you are looking for. If not, you may
want to look at the native database analyzer (Tools ... Analyze ...
Documentor) Or you may try a commercial product like Total Access Detective:

If it's just tables you need to document, I have a free utility on my
website:

Arvin:

FWIW, FMS Access Detective is more for comparing 2 databases & spotting the
differences. FMS Access Analyzer is their Documentor plus.
