I'm trying to help somebody running Access 2000 SP3 and I know little of
Access.
He is entering data in a form. Normally, he types an item number in the
first field and when he tabs to the next field or presses enter, the
description is automatically filled in the adjacent field. The problem is on
certain numbers, when he tabs to the next field, the number is removed from
its field and replaced with the description and the description field stays
blank. Some information I've gotten so far:
This only occurs on certain numbers - not all.
The database is located on a network. This only occurs on his PC. Others
don't have this issue.
Office was already re-installed once.
As I said, I'm not very well-versed in Access, so any help would be greatly
appreciated. Please post if there is more information I need to provide.
