Is it possible to change the storage location of a 2010 Outlook Data
File ?

The file is currently located in the C drive and I would like to move
it to the D Drive

What type of email account? All but Hotmail connector data files can
be moved. See

and

for various methods.

Seems simple enough. I moved the file, pointed to it and restarted
Outlook.

Hit Send/Receive aand got this message "Outlook data file can not be
accessed".

What happened? Outlook knows where the files are since I have told it
to open the location and goes to the correct folder.

This is a pop3 account.
