data in mail merge is not the way I have it in Access

I entered dates in my access data base as mm/dd/yy. The last time I used my
mail merge with this data it entered the date with the time included
(mm/dd/yy 12:00am. I do not want the time included but have not been able to
find a way to get rid of it. The time is not included in my access data base.

Then you will have to format the data in your merge program. Access stores
dates as a date and time. How the other program formats that data is up to
the other program, not something Acess can control.

If you are in Word, I think you can right-click the data field and format it
to display in a multitude of ways.
