Data Model Diagram Visio 2003->2007

I upgraded recently to Visio 2007, and any Data Model diagrams i had in 2003
don't load as database model diagrams in 2007.

I get "ER Source Model Support is not installed" and the diagrams are
viewable but not usable.
I can create new ones in 2007, but the 2003 ones don't work.

Right now i am considering reverting to 2003 - is there a better
alternative? Is this going to get fixed?

I have exactly the same problem.
Is there already a solution for that problem (instead of creating all
drawings new again)?
--> I'd like to open my old Visio files in Visio2007.
