Data Modeling & SQL_Variant

Does anyone know of an update to visio that will allow me to select any of
the available sql 2000 data types, ie SQL_Variant?

Make sure you have SQL2K drivers installed, then go to
Database->Options->Drivers, select SQL Server, click [Setup], point to
any SQL2K DSN. Check out Preferred Settings tab for DDL generation.
