Here is my problem. The ODBC file I'm connecting to has more than 256
fields. The field I want is beyond the number 256 so it never shows an a
choice when I simply connect to the file with Access. When I go through
MS-Query I get the opportunity to pick my fields so I can get to the one I
want.
So, can I hook the Access app to the Excel sheet and trust the data will be
fresh? Is there some vba code to ensure the sheet is fresh?
Is there a better way to get to the field I want without using Excel? I've
tried to hack the "translation" file to eliminate all the fields I don't want
to no avail.
