data points on a line graph

I am in the process of writing my thesis for grad school
and I am using graphs I created with Excel. I would like
to insert the numeric value for each data point on the
graph. For the post-test data points the numbers appear
to the right of the corresponding data points (this looks
good), but when I insert the numbers for the data points
of the pretest the numbers are placed to the right of the
data points and are in the graph itself. This makes the
graphs look very cluttered and does not add any value to
using the graphs that I am creating.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to place the
numeric values of the data points outside of each graph.
Thank you for your help and suggestions.
