Data source unable to connect for pivot chart

Hi,

I want to create a dashboard application to be used from ms-crm
server.

I have installed the following

- sharepoint services 2.0
- office 2003 web parts

- ms crm 3 server
- ms sql server 2005

I want to connect office pivot chart to ms sql server (or any other
datasource)

when i click on "Connect to an external data source. " Nothing
happens.

If I switch to personal view in sharepoint site, it gives below
message

You do not have permission to connect to a data source defined for
this Web Part. For assistance, contact your site administrator.

It sounds like permission problem. But I'm the admin and only user of
the PC.

Can anybody help me to resolve this issue?

Make sure the web identity has permission to connect to the cube. Also, have
a look at your browser security settings.
