No. Or at least mostly, no. Please read on.
All your data is stored on your PC. This way you can continue working
even when disconnected from the Internet. This applies to every member
of a workspace - they also have a copy too.
Now, if you are not connected to the Internet when a colleague makes a
change to the contents of a workspace, then those changes are encrypted
and are temporarily stored on a server at Microsoft. This server is
called a Relay Server. When you come on line again, the information is
downloaded to your PC and deleted from the relay server.
In Groove2007, there's a strong push to get companies to run their own
relay server, thus alleviating Microsoft from the burden. You'll still
be able to use Microsoft's Relay Servers if you prefer though.

I would like to know where the data (files, information etc) of a workspace
is stored. Is this on a central server at Microsoft?
