I am trying to convert a numeric field to a currency field
type, and I keep getting the message that there is not
enough memory available. I have everything else shut down
on the pc, and I rebooted to free up any memory that might
be still be held by other apps. The file is large (180K
records)but I was able to convert another file the same
size without incident. I tried to formatting the field as
currency in a query and then making a new table from the
query, but I find that it does not retain the currency
setting when I open the table. Is there any way I can do
this?
