data types

The "Attachment" data type does not show in the dropdown list. Is there a
preference or setting I'm missing? And yes....it is Access 2007

Are you using the Access 2007 file format (.accdb)? If your database is in
the Access 2003 fiile format (.mdb), that data type is not available.
