Data Validation drop down arrows Excel 2002

Hi,

When you've got a cell with a Data Validation list to
select from, does anyone know how to make the drop down
arrows show up at all times, even when the cell isn't
highlighted?

For example, I've got a spreadsheet with 7 cells and I'd
like them all to have the arrows showing, to save me
using up other cells indicating where they are.

I'm sure it used to be an option in previous versions of
excel but now I've upgraded i can't find it.

regards

Adam

The arrow is only visible in the active cell. You could insert a comment
in each cell, and leave the comment indicator visible. It appears as a
red triangle at the top right of the cell, but does not print.

Insert a comment in one cell (Insert>Comment)
Select that cell, and choose Edit>Copy
Choose Edit>Go To, click Special
Select 'Data Validation', click OK
Choose Edit>Paste Special
Select Comment, click OK

I don't think xl ever could show that dropdown in prior versions.

I just give those cells a different color to indicate that it's used for input.
