Hi all

I have a sheet with Data Validation with a List.where In-Cell DropDown is
cheked.

For some reason the dropdown does NOT appear in the cell when it is selected
?

Anyone know why ?
(Excel XP)

Thanks,
Flemming

It happens to me ALL the time, especially if I have
any "frozen" window panes. All I can do is to close Excel
and restart and then the drop down is there for me.

Could it be that there is a maximum number of Data Validation that Excel can
handle ?

At this point I have 36300 cells with different kinds of datavalidations....
(not all with Lists)

Well, I just copied a list validation from A1 to A65536 and all seem to
work, except for A65536 itself which doesn't have enough room to pop up.

Hi Jim

If I copy the entire sheet to another workbook - the List is still without
the dropdown.

If I copy some area of the sheet to another sheet in another workbook, then
some of the Lists gets the dropdown, but not all.......

I do not know what to think of it........
