Data validation, my "in-cell dropdown" arrow is not showing

Using data validation, my "in-cell dropdown" arrow is not showing on the
active cell. After a quick search, I tried removing frozen panes, and made
sure I was "showing all" objects under Tool Options View tab. Any other
ideas?
