I have been using a named range in an external book for a data validation in
another book. It worked ok, but now extra lines have been inserted in the
named range. It has extended, however in the external book the data
validation list now does not display the whole list. The named range appears
to still be in the data validation input. Is there a maximum number of
entires you can have in the list? (I have been to Debra's page and can't see
the answer)
Also I have a workbook that someone else has put together that appears to
let you type the word in the data validation cell, and it then completes as
you type, (as opposed to picking from scrolling down the list). How can I do
this? I can send an example if needed.
