Data Validation

I have a form that I need to allow only 11 digits in one
field, and to display an error message if not keyed in
correctly. I've tried using the data validation, however
it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be
appreciated.

You could try it with a whole number between 1 and 99999999999

Only 11 digits:

=LEN($A$1)=11

11 digits or less:

=LEN($A$1)<=11

Select "Custom" on the drop down and use 1 of the formulas
above.
